Do I need a topsider to change the engine oil on a 99 CLK 430 or doest it have a drain plug, thanks.

 

If you remove the bottom "splash panel", which is held on by 4 8mm screws you will find the 13 mm drain plug on the passenger side of the bottom oil pan. Oh, and don't forget to replace the little brass colored washer on the plug.
