2008 722.9 4matic rough but otherwise normal transmission shifts

2008 722.9 4matic rough but otherwise normal transmission shifts
2008 C300 4matic (722.9) - the car shifts at the right times but from 1 -2 -3 -4 it shifts pretty hard (it lost its buttery mercedes smoothness). I just had the transmission fluid flushed as I was worried the previous independent mechanic underfilled it - but its still the same.

Valve body? It also downshifts smoothly.
