C220cdi wont crank./start
Hi all,
My 2010 C220cdi started flashing ESP fault the other day, resets on ignition key cycle till next time.
Today it failed to start (crank) whilst out, tried may times, rolled it 20 feet or so and then it started on key, so legged it home.
Doesn't start now... had borrowed scanner anyway to scan for ESP fault, luckily!!!
Car won`t crank now, dash says; ESP/ABS fault, Air bag fault, Tyre pressure monitoring fault, Cruise control fault (which it doesn`t have!!!)... Codes were; U103288 Chassis can Communication has a malfunction. Bus off-Message missing-stored
U118200 The Chassis CAN Network Management is Unstable. there is a general failure-Current. Stored.
Scanner could not and did not recognise the ABS/ESP system at all. Cleared stored codes, now scanner will not access vehicle at all, not even on EOBD.
All advise gratefully received..
