Middle Two Vents Stuck Shut
A little while back, I heard a snap in my middle vents. Now, when I spin the wheel that controls airflow for these two middle vents, nothing happens and there is no resistance when turning the wheel. I think that the piece of plastic that controls airflow is stuck shut and I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to fix it without going to a repair shop, or how much it would cost me to get it fixed at either the dealership or a repair shop.

FWIW, a side vent in my '99 was approximately $74 and took me about 15 minutes to change; plastic was not repairable. Be careful of the wood trim. Search for how to replace or ask online in the appropriate sub-forum.
