Motorola v60: CDMA or TDMA
So, I set up an account with Verizon. Meanwhile, I spoke with my sales rep and in asking about the phone, inquired whether it was CDMA or TDMA. He didn't seem to know the difference, but looked at it and said he saw "TDMA".
I then spoke with my Verizon guy. As I thought, he said that Verizon's network is all CDMA. I knew AT&T Wireless had TDMA, but I also know (as many others do, I'm sure) that TDMA is a dying technology.
So: can anyone tell me if the Motorola v60s are CDMA or TDMA?

V60t is the TDMA phone for AT&T customers.
(was there a V60g for GSM too?)
The charging cradle in the car doesn't care which one you get.
You don't need Mercedes Benz to do anything for you to activate the phone. I picked up the V60s phone (still in the box) from Mercedes. Then I went with the phone to the Verizon Store to open the service account.
The guy at the Verizon store said I didn't have to come in to the store at all. He said I could have activated it over the airwaves by just pressing the send key and following the directions. (But I got a free cigarette lighter charger from the guy, so it was worth the stop).
