Can not turn my key fob
I have an issue with my 2006 E320CDI key fob it opens closes the doors also open closes the windows but when inserted in the ignition it does not turn in the ignition lock. Do I need reprograming or new key?

Could be as simple as a bad solder joint in the key fob; could be as bad as the drive authorization system failed and needs replacement. Use your second key. If you don't have one, buy one but be prepared to pay several hundred dollars for it.

Thanks I don't have second key if the key has bad solder than why does it work for door locks and window but does not turn in ignition switch? When I used before there was always a sound of steering lock being unlocked now I don't here that so I suspect there is issue with key not unlocking steering lock. How do you check if the key is good.

Thanks I will go to t dealer(stealer) and ask them for new key or have my key fob checked. I don't have star diagnostic system but do have a ICarsoft MB Diagnostic scanner can it give me code to see what is the issue?

It might but the STAR will show the actual values in the system; i.e. yes/no, on/off, etc for each link in the process required to unlock the steering column.
