Help! is it possible to do this myself?

My car 1996 C220 sedan.

I took the car to the dealer to diagnose a interior dash whislting noise.

Anyway, its a servo on the dash that controls air flow.

dealer wants $1,200 to replace it, saying the need to pull the dash...

Any clue if I can buy this part and install it myself

HELP!

Thanks.

I can not get into that website, at least without purchasing at least a one day subsricption to it.

Is it possible, if you have access to email me at least what it would take to replace the right air flow contol servo in the dash?

Email to oc2001@postmark.net

I would buy the account, but I do not have any idea what would be involved.

thanks!
