poor ride and stability

I´ve a 1996 E300D W210, 150Kmiles and it not riding right. The only thing I did was a plus one change from 15" to 16

It wobbles/rocks from side to side far more than any car I've ever had before and is far more "lively" than I expected. It more sensitive to the wind

I am not sure whether it is :

all perfect, but it's just the way it rides

Tyres are Nokian NRVi 215/55 R16 97 charge Load

Any ideas?

Have the shocks ever been replaced? I have never driven one but that seems the most obvious issue to me.

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
is it since you made the rim change? if so, check offset to make sure you have the right wheels, then check balance and alignment.

the offset is the rigth one ET 41 and regarding the aligment they told me the camber ajustment was not possible.
The shocks are fine ,so my question is :
