Mercedes Me Connect help

Hi everyone,

I hope this is an appropriate place to post this...

My question is about the notifications I receive when I use the Mercedes Me Connect iOS app. Every time I use the Remote Start function (as an example), I get a text, a Push notification from the app and an email. All 3 telling me I just started the engine and when I open a door all 3 notify me about that too. Does anyone know how to get this down to just the Push notification?

Thank you!

My car is a 2016, so I have the previous version (Mercedes Me). When I tap the menu icon near the upper left corner of the screen, and then tap App Settings > Notifications, I get settings for Push Notifications and Text Notifications. Does the new version not have these options?

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, it won't be that easy. I spoke with the tech support department at Mercedes Me and they are aware of the issue and "are working on it". Hopefully, they will come up with similar options to what the previous version had. My 2015 CLS also used the version you are using.

Thanks again!

Good luck with that. Shortly after purchasing my car, I spent considerable time with "tech support" for the app. They were completely inept and had no idea what was really going on.

I definitely got that impression while talking with them yesterday. Basic things about iPhones she didn't understand even though she had one in her hands and was putting me on hold to talk with her supervisor.

I do have to say that the Mercedes Me Connect app seems to have much more information in it, but I'm not sure if that's because the app is better or the newer cars are just more capable (or both).
