E350 CDI Electronic Thermostat

Good evening all.

I am still having problems with my 2010 E350 CDI cooling fan. I have noticed that the car takes a long time to warm up, which even with the cooling fan running all the time (which it currently does) it shouldn’t if the thermostat is closed and it also never gets above 70 degrees unless i’m sat in traffic for a long time. I was just going to change the thermostat until i realised its an electronically adjusted one.

My questions is, is there any way for me to check the electronically adjusted thermostat is operating correctly and receiving the correct signal(s) from the ECU?

Thank you in advance.

Michael
