A tad Squirrely

My H&R's make my ride look great, but the car seems a'bit squirrely. Thought it was just reacting different, due to the lower center of gravity and heightened "feel". Could this be a camber issue? How can I tell?

Have you had a Wheel Alignment done since you lowered the car?

squrrely

I did the hr and bilstein sport shocks on the 01 e55 and it made the ride firmer, and absolutely less loose. not squrrelly(?) and as tacked down as my old 93 500e. I have no suggestions about what to do, though. sorry.

Alignment's don't change from swapping wheels and tires, Wheel Alignment becomes effected due to changing the ride height of the vehicle or suspension components.

As you lower your Mercedes and front end tends to go toe out which will cause the squirrely feeling. The fairly soft stock front bushings don't help in the matter either. The static toe setting can show toe in which is recommended and then go to toe out while on the brakes and during cornering loads.

Sppedy...that sound like it

However, I did change from 19"s to 18" and a different sidewall. Thus, my thought was the ride height changed a'bit. I should know tomorrow. However, guys, if that is not it...is a camber kit in my future?

well it is now better

the round of re balance and allignement seems to have helped a ton.
