thx for the post
I do not recommend anyone to buy this device cloned as MB can brick it anytime. latest Xentry has 3 timebombs that can take action anytime
stick with C4, without batteries of course, to avoid getting bricked ! you have been warned

Hello pmercury, I have installed Xentry DAS PassThru 2021 and connect to my car with a Openport 2.0 (USB to OBD). I am able to read various fault codes and even test dashboard gauges, read engine rpm, ATF temperature. But I'm worried about brick the car as you said. Where I can read about this timebombs? Do I need to worry? Thanks

you won't brick anything with that setup
its quit limited anyway
timebombs is another thing, with self-installed setups you took that risk

BenzNinja, thank you for your response, so I'm ready to go with my setup? I'm not quite sure what did you mean by "...self-installed setups you took that risk" It's my setup a "self-installed"? I took any risk?

Gracias,

Jaime.
