But E350 with bad fuel pump and timing :)
Also I didn't think that it would cause the car not to start. So I investigated further check compression number one cylinder only read 90 PSI dry, that's the only one I check. Will check the other side in the morning in the interest of not pissing off my neighbors. I got Spark however no fuel pressure. Did not have the pressure gauge, however remove the line and turn key on, I had no gas flowing out the line. I checked power to the relay and the fuse. Both got power and both the relay and fuse were fine. Check power going to the sending unit on the driver side, got power. Then I try to add power to the sending unit thinking it was a fuel pump at the time. No noise however, came to find out this is a pzev vehicle. So the fuel pump was non-assessable. Apparently I have to change the whole thing. I like to think I'm outside of the box, Plus it'd be nice to save money. Has anybody retro fitted an aftermarket pump. I know it's been as hella times but I just haven't seen any answers? Actual question though. How do i feed the power to the pump? Is there away to test the sending unit/filter? I can see on the scanner the fuel pump isnt turning on. Is there anything else I should be looking at or ruling out?
