Mercedes me Connect app is not connecting to vehicle

- Open the Mercedes Me Connect App
- Open the “Garage” where you can choose the “Active Vehicle” (menu icon upper left, then touch the currently active car)
- Click “Manage Services”
- Deactivate “Remote Engine Start”
- Wait a minute
- Reactivate “Remote Engine Start”
I followed your guidance and clicked the blue button to deactivate Remote Engine Start. The blue went away and it reads "Deactivation in progress..." but nothing else has happened. I also tried to deactivate "Remote Door locking and unlocking". Same actions - blue goes away and wording added "Deactivation in progress..."
I then deleted and reloaded the app. No change - still says deactivation in progress for both functions.
I continue to think that the app and car are not connecting. I will next try to "remove vehicle".

Please allow me to step in. The same happened to me when I accidentally deleted the 'Programming and Charging settings' (I have the plug-in-hybrid) and Geofencing by mistake and 'deactivation in progress...' popped up. The matter was rectified when contact was resumed between my mobile and the vehicle when the icon 'activate' was no longer greyed out and I re-activated both services. No, do not resort to remove the vehicle.

Called the Service manager at AMG Sydney Mascot. Went in and it literally took 10 mins to do the job! Nothing worst that getting some Fxcken idiot that doesn't know how to do his job!
My App controls pretty much every setting in the car.
I suspect you'll need to go to Mercedes to reactivate the app-car pairing.
I now have a 2020 SE iphone.. No better
I did delete the vehicle from the app. I did not have to go to a dealer to get the vehicle back on the app. But I did have to call MB to get it back on. I have had two calls with MB. The one today took over 30 minutes and included me emailing her screen shots of what my app was showing. She said she will refer my case to their technical unit. I think she now realizes that the vehicle and phone app don't recognize each other. MB connect is not connecting.

yesterday I used the app to lock my vehicle. Then when I tried unlocking with the app, it wouldn't work.called customer service and they gave me a few troubleshooting options, which none worked. Then called them back to order roadside assistance. Was initially told around 10pm it would be 10-15mintes and I would get a call from a service agency in the area. At nearly 2am, got a call from the mercedes customer service asking if I still needed assistance????? No, it magically fixed itself here in make-believe world! Was then texted at 6am that the service agency would arrive in an hour. At 7:15am received a call from mercedes stating they would arrive in 35 minutes. After a half hour received a call from service agency again asking of I still needed assistance.........and that he would arrive in 25 minutes. Luckily I was at my daughter's house or I would have been stranded an hour away from home! Very frustrating to say the least!

where you able to get your car unlocked? My car won’t unlock. I’m used to leaving the keys in when going out for a hike and this time the car won’t open. They send me a lockout technician and she damages my window seal, I immediately told her to stop. I’m in desperate need to get this fix or else I would have to pay a locksmith to mess with the keyhole and open it that way. Locksmith is going to charge me $250, and that might not work either. When I use the app to open the car it says that there’s an issue in their end but they can’t figure what the heck is wrong. It’s so frustrating. Anyone have any suggestions. I have a 2018 C300

hello, I have been having the same issue since March 24 of this year. All of my data on the Mercedes Me Connect is dated on 24 March. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times. They basically said that the issue is beyond the Mercedes me advisors capabilities and that they have technicians working on the solution. I did ask if I was the only person who was having this issue and they said no.. At this point I was in my free trial for one year that expires next month but they said they were grandfathered me back in, so I’m assuming if you’re paying for the services, you may be able to be reimbursed or extended due to you, not being able to utilize the services.
