Code reader/scanner code tool
With Audi there is OBD 11 which reads/clears codes as well as enabling some coding, such as service reminder resets, seatbelt chimes, etc. Is there something like this for Benz?

All vehicles have OBD-II connectors, and most inexpensive scanners can read generic codes and clear DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) so that the CEL (check engine light) resets. Resetting oil service indicators is vehicle specific and a more capable OBD reader is required. What capabilities do you need?

From your profile picture it looks like you have an X156. If just to reset service/oil reminders specifically, navigate to the Trip screen then hold Phone first and then simultaneously hold OK button for 3 seconds until ASSYT PLUS pops up. Scroll down with the arrow buttons on the steering wheel and go to ASSYST PLUS, when it ask full service then press OK, confirm full service? OK. Cannot be undone? OK. Service reminder will reset.
