Transmission swap from a 2000 S430 to a 2001 S500
Ok so I have an S430 year 2000 and it’s been sitting about 8 months and I just bought an S500 with a blown transmission. now the 430 was stole a while back and it did not come back the way it left so I’m taking the tranny out of it and wanting to put in the s500 cause it is immaculate inside and out. It need vavle covers and a few other thing I already have but I want to get it running before I do all the others thing. Now I drained the fluid and it smells burned I mean really burned like someone let it run low on fluid and just kept on goingSo can this swap be done and what needs to be done after the tranny is in so I have to prgram the tranny or can I just drop the TCM from the 430
Into the 500 please help and if you haven’t done this and know someone that has please ask them to help thanks everyone help needed
