pressure sensor
1st post.
73 450SL. 701. D-Jetronic FI.
I am looking for info/advice about the pressure sensor on this vehicle. My service guy has installed 3 used ones to try to keep the price of the repair down, but each one he has received has been shot. It looks like it is the seal between the 2 halves of the unit, more so than the diaphram that is failing.
So, any advice on where to get one? Used or new? I have run into a lot of dead ends on the web. Has anyone attempted to get one of these rebuilt? I doubt it as they are riveted together.
