E250D 2014 revving high before gear change. And now amber engine light
Hi all
New here so hope I’ve posted this in the right place.
I’ve had a very intermittent issue with my E250D where it revs very high before it changes gear. It also seems to lack power. Normally I switch off the ignition and restart it and it seems to clear the issue. Ive had the gear box serviced but it did absolutely nothing. Anyway recently the issue seems to have got much more frequent and instead of happening once a month, it happens quite frequently and it doesn’t seem to reset when I switch the ignition on and off. Also the amber engine warning light has now come on.
Has anyone experienced this before or able to provide advice before I start shelling out ridiculous amounts of money?
