Battery replacement questions 03 e320
Is there anything other than swapping the old battery out. I got the recommended battery.. I know to cover the positive terminal with a cloth so there’s no contact with the battery or metal frame.
I’m obviously new to Mercedes’. While doing some quick research, I’ve seen people saying the ecu needs to be reset? I’m confused

when you disconnect the battery power to your car it allows the sleepless SAMs to get rebooted ie. restarted from zero power.
I am not sure what genuine problem your chassis is afflicted with usually. Keeping an eye on charging power is a great way to figure how your battery is being charged or discharged by the crazy ECU control .
