2013 mercedes s550 need help with 6 cd cartridge and radio
just bought a 2013 mercedes s550. the screen shows no cd cartridge. i can't find where to insert the cd cartridge. i assume it is in the trunk, but cannot find it. car is definitely set up for one. anyone have a clue. i checked the left side of the interior trunk and can't find it. also can't get the radio to work. any help on how to do that. car is new to me and everything else works. need some advice.

I had a 2013 E350 and it give the impression it had a CD changer, but it did not. The one MB I had that did have one, it was in the trunk. I forget where since it's been 15+ years but couldn't miss it. I think it was in back but up high so a typical scan of the trunk would miss it.
Other cars I've owned or worked on had hidden them in the glove box, the center console and in the trunk but behind a little door/panel on the sides.
My current car, a 2016, I just use SD cards with MP3's on them. The SD slot is a bit below the single slot for the CD's. Way better, I'll never use CD's again. It also has a couple USB ports, I know one for sure is in the center console box.
Converting your CD's to MP3 is easy, and you never have to worry about losing damaging them again.

Assuming you did not get an owners manual with the car? You can download a copy from mbusa.com. Should be info in it about the CD player. The 6-pack changer might be internal - you load one CD at a time through one slot.
