2021 GLS 63 issues

Hi guys,

Bought my 21 GLS 63 about 8 months ago and have had the below issue ever since..

There is a loud noise within the braking system when the car comes to a complete stop and also when you release the brakes. Its not a squeaking noise that you hear on a lot of cars, its more of like a loud clunky/ringing type noise right as the vehicle comes and goes from a complete stop.

Any help is much appreciated. Love driving the car otherwise

EPB?

Is that your electric parking brake going ON then releasing?

Video

See attached video. I do feel like it is maybe associated with the EPB/start stop/hold systems. Maybe in some way they are out off sync? Also a few times I've been in park on a slope and the car will all the sudden lunge forward on me.

After 10-15min of driving it does seem to get better.

Sounds like the ABS/ESP system is actuating.

What modifications are on this car? Wheels or tires? Recent curb impact?

Lunging forward on a slope sounds like a warranty claim to me, not fixing it yourself. If you start fooling around with it, they might just say you broke it if you finally decide to go to the dealer. 🙂

Security's involved...

sir, it's about time someone take the time to hook up a scanner to see what the networked computers are up to. Dealers do that very well for cars under warranty.

You did pay premium for your car services, right?
Now is time to make this technology stack perform as designed...
