urgent.ly came for MB Roadside assistance
Hi,
I had to call Mercedes Road side assistance last week as my 2017 GLC 300 was showing the message 'stop vehicle / leave engine running'. Road side assistance was quick to dispatch someone but looks the service was provided thru urgent.ly and the person came to my door was from a 3rd party. He advised a battery replacement and told me he will bring a OEM mercedes battery and replace it in an hour. I gave him the go-ahead but when he brough the new battery it did not have any Mercedes OEM branding. It said H7 AGM so I think it will be work fine, but I didn't trust this person on what we replaced with.
Please let me know, if anyone has similar experience. I have called Mercedes Benz customer support and they advised they will look at this and get back to me.
