Hood latch problem
) and can now see the stuck latch. However, I tried to pry in all the angles with a long screwdriver, and it just would not budge. I wonder if you guys have any advice before I go to my last resort, which is to cut off the latches
Thanks!

Of course plastic brakes because the latch grease has evaporated to give rust a chance move in.
Hood latches need maintenance - While near there the tiny switch sensors need a silicone jacket to durably stay dry.
