Question about 1980's 190E class transmissions

I am driving a 1989 190E with 6 cylinders. I've noticed a leak from the transmission and also my reverse has gone out.

I have an old 1985 190E with 4 cylinders in storage that I use for parts. Can I use that transmission?

Thank You for any help with this issue that you may be able to provide.

The transmissions are significantly different. Will it work? I am not sure, but it is definitely not a correct application. I believe the number of bolts in the bell housing is different, for instance.
