2016 G63 misfire
Hey, new to the forum and the Mercedes world. I have a 2016 G63 that is misfiring on cylinder 7. I checked the coil and changed the plugs but it’s still misfiring. All of the other plugs look good but cylinder 7 had a good bit of buildup on it that appears to be oil. Has anyone else encountered this?

How old and smooth is your engine?
"checked the coil"...
you swapped the coil with snother cylinder, right?
"Build up on plug #7"...
on top side or cylinder inside??
It sounds like the #7 piston rings may not be sealing to the cylinder walls...

More info would be useful, and a pix of the plug.
My first assumption is a bad coil. You say you checked, but they can pass and still be bad. Best to swap it with another cyl to see if the midfire moves with it.
A dirty/plugged injector can cause it to go lean and unable to clean itself, thus be dirty. You did say buildup, not oil, so that's better than wet with oil imo.
They sell bore scopes pretty cheap these days, like <$100. Bought one myself last month Worth it to see in there when you have an issue just like this.
Cali; you feelin ok? You forgot to ask if he unplugged :p
Almost forgot; the dreaded oil in the harness issue. Which can cause various random issues. This could be the first symptom, maybe.
If not, it's something you need to keep an eye on if unfamiliar with this issue. There are several threads about it here, somewhere.

when you keep doing the right things, good things come back at you because they crowd your space.
I've already tried to help your known issues more than twice going around circles:
The only thing stopping you are your own limits.
I am convinced someone like Peter can lead you forward @BenzNinja can expertly correct all your programming bugs.
