Is the upper bearing on steering column replaceable?
if yes what kind of bearing do i need?
Or do i have to replace the whole steering column on my C300 2008 4matic.
Please help.

Well, you got it.... this column bearing works in nearly dry conditions - A little high temp silicone should come in handy.

I don't know anything about removing the bearings race... may need whole column which host the solderless SCModule.

Let me try to locate picture with factory lube condition near 30kMi.

as-is factory lube condition

We spot traces of lube near the 9 O'clock position.

The steering wheel feels noticeably smoother with grease... who could have guessed ​​​​​​
