Front Seatback 64 color ambient lighting retrofit

Hello everyone, I'm new to the MB world coming from the VAG world. I am currently trying to accomplish the task mentioned in the title for a client of mine. 🙂 We were able to install China exclusive w213 front seatbacks onto the w464 seats! We took the chrome trim off and had it overlayed with carbon fiber and noticed there was ambient lighting installed into them as well. I naively figured I could tap into a center console LED and run the wires to the body side seat connectors and install factory pins on both sides of the plugs for a seamless install. The kicker was once I had everything reinstalled and went to check if they turned on. Sadly they did not illuminate. I checked continuity and voltages, everything was good. I moved the original console LED to the new seatback and boom it turned on!

Okay, so now I know it's something software or coding related. This is where I am at a loss. My foxwell scan tool shows we the LIN bus for the center console lights but I didn't scan it before the install. It says there are 6 lights installed but I only saw 4 on the center console so I'm not sure if it is now detecting the seats for the total of 6. It says LED 5 and LED 6 are "not active". While the other 4 are "active" or "busy". Coming from the VAG world I would use my VCDS tool to change the coding to inform the car. What do we have for MB to accomplish this or am I dreaming in clouds to make this possible?
