W245 key problem

Guys, I'm dealing with the key of the w245 again.. After a big rain, it stopped working, it doesn't read the key, it turns but doesn't make contact. I took the key to be tested and they say it's ok, that surely water got into the car and some contact got wet. The battery compartment was full of water, but the fuse box was completely dry. I put in the key from another car and it reads, why does it tell me that the key doesn't correspond to the vehicle. When I put in the car's own, it does something strange. It flashes, sometimes once, sometimes twice for tenths of a second, the message that says it's loading the key data. But then it turns off as if there was no key. I put in a new battery, it doesn't open or close either. I only have one key! Will it be as they say and the key will be ok? Why does the one from another car read it and know that it's not, while the one from the car can't read it?

Well you know electricals things don't mix with rain.

Your key is fine, the chassis is soaked...

-- 1st word of advice: save your battery from draining flat with a float charger (ctek/noko)

-- 2nd its not just gonna stop acting up. Don't replace "lucky parts"... Instead use a good MB scanner to diagnose what is acting up right now.

-- You said fuse box is dry: good deal you save $2,000 bonus nicely!
-- Let's see what the fault scan says about networking faults??

Perhaps footwell area got swamped... it's a Mercedes, who knows ??

Have you tried connecting the scanner regardless of ignition status ?

Notice how chassis is awaken by the door opening... CAN-D will definitely respond to scanner. If not that's where you're going to go focus to resume power.

EIS:Ignition commands F-SAM to power up additional modules towards key validation + engine run.

I was able to connect the OBD, it fails 900e0 and 9005 When I move the key, I put the key in, the scanner recognizes it, but if I move it up and down it stops recognizing it (worn EZS?) Then I put the first dot, the second dot and the start signal and it recognizes it well... Is it the key or the EZS, I'm sure it is... the key being placed activates and deactivates if you move it a little

All right, scanner is working as expected.

Some fault codes were retrieved from the chassis.

Translate codes into meaningful actionable language.

Unsure if it is keyfob issue...

standard ESL failure

Is this fault status set as: CURRENT or STORED ?

If active then your ESL needs replacement with an emulator module.
