2008 GL 320 CDI Limp no fuses blown

I started throwing these codes a week ago and went into limp. No fuses blown in the engine compartment. Changed fuel water sensor and filter. Bypassed swirl motor with a resistor to Dx. No joy. Any ideas would be appreciated.

You really got a productive batch of faults.

From your input this may be self induced when you decided to jump something with a resistor. Can you at least back track to stock see if engine joy returns.

Something may have gotten fried....
Can you see all the lines that say "MIL ON....": these earn your limp mode.

Clear faults and see what comes back to guide your next steps. Use a battery tender to preserve voltage charge while working on chassis!
🤞

Alright thanks. I noticed a crack in the fresh air inlet hose to turbo so that is coming Wednesday with new MAF sensors. The codes above were taken before I tried to delete swirl motor with a 4.7k resistor for Dx purposes and nothing has changed in codes. Thanks for the MIL ON info. That’s super helpful information.

once you have the issues sliced and diced it's easier to solve.

Focus by priority:
on MIL triggering limp-mode
then misc one at the time.

Fault clearing is not always direct. Multiple drive cycle may be necessary.

M55 was the culprit. Replaced using a decent all inclusive kit with inlet port motor, turbo gaskets, etc. all systems nominal.

What led you to diagnose M55 ?

The car had an oil cooler gasket leak early on as well as oil drip down from the turbo fresh air inlet. That fact and the only two other big players /Turbo actuator nominal, EGR valve nominal, on circuit 87 led to an M55 eduction. Also, interestingly, the fuse at position 103 or104 in the front right engine bay (can’t recall) actually did have a hairline break that I discovered only by ohming the fuse itself.

The motor had a history of turbo inlet gasket failure, lots of oil leak down onto inlet motor. The only other players on circuit 87 that would cause MIL are both fine. Upon very close inspection with a meter, fuse 104 or 103 15a (can’t recall) was indeed blown. No char or obvious fuse break. Flutter leaflet banks both had very smooth range of motion so not soot buildup just an infiltrated motor casing. I actually removed the boost actuator although the turbo is new and inspected the interior for faults. Nothing there. Incidental finding was a small fuel leak on high pressure small elbow fuel line. I had used a crap clamp so replaced with the MB OE clip style.
