W203 ecm programming
Apologies if this has been asked before. I have comw across a thread or two, but its either a dead end or not quite what I am looking to get info on.
I ran into a problem where the emissions control on my w203 has been "switched off". Its a long story..... Anyway, i would like to have it switched back on, because I am getting zero STFT's and zero readings from the O2 sensor, and zero check engine light, even if started with the O2 sensor disconnected.
My question is....what is needed, besides the C3 or C4 hardware? I have downloaded a 75gig ghost image of the Xentry software, just waiting on the laptop to come back. Is everything that I will need in the Xentry package? This is what is in the 75gig file I downloaded

Run your engine well again or
build yourself a scanner ?
Was your ECU firmware altered to hide active faults ?? Replace it!
It's not only ECU tweaks... real things happen to engine components when ECU is tempered with.
We are talking lean/rich mixtures have consequences -
Don't expect to swap ECU and find this engine ready to run well.
Keep that in mind before you start throwing expensive parts at this: ECU, injectors, pumps, cats, lambda, valves, ignition coils, ... for what result???

"If" you get Xentry working yoy can have Benzninja load tge ecu. Either join his lifetime service or I'm sure he'll do a one time job for $xxx. Better to join because you'll likely need him again.
