GL 350 Air Suspension Question
GL 350 Air Suspension Question
Having some issue with air suspension:
* Found car in garage with lowered left front. Started car & it leveled out.
* 2 days later, car again low in left front. Assumed it was strut end of life ( 120K miles). Started car. Leveled out. Raised car - waited until light on button went out. Lowered car - waited for light to go out. This time it took a very long time for light to go out & when it did the car was still raised! Turned off ignition & car lowered and I could hear air whoosh as lowered. But lowered to normal level.
* Was good for a week - then found car left rear lowered after returning to car in a parking lot following shopping. Started car & it leveled. Drive to another store, was shopping, returned about 30 min later and l rear again lowered. Drove car home. Has now been in garage 3 days at normal level.
* No check engine lights.
* Thinking now that it may be the valve block - however it seems weird that it would first be front left - then later rear left. 2 different solenoids, right?
* Even though the struts & rear bags are probably near end of life and need replaced - I would like to diagnose root cause of current problem. Any thoughts on how to do that? Would you replace valve block first?

yes, the rusty steel valve block... do soapy check fir leaks.
Go ahead connect your scanner to read wheel sensors, actiuate valves and normalise levels.

Nothing is as complete as .... Xentry but thus is not required either to simply call this or that.
Can iCarsoft show you live streams?
