2026 GLE 450e Seat Memory and AC control while charging
I have contacted our dealer, and they were not able to solve these issues. Any input would be apricated since I have not had time to actual schedule an appointment.
I have two issues that need to be resolved.
1) When car has been parked for a while and we want to switch drivers pushing the seat position to recall saved position for that new driver does not work. The only way to get it to work is to lean over and push the start button and select a profile before seat position 1 or 2 or 3 works. Buttons should work independently and without having to start of select a profile.
2) When charging at a charging station we often stay in the car however AC doesn't work. It works while driving or when you're parked.
FYI - There is also an unrelated problem that the two years of free charging doesn't work at MCB charging stations. There is a ticket in at MCB. Apparently, the code for the GLE450e doesn't match the code at ChargePoint that manages the MCB charging stations. The current code only allows for free charging at Buc-ees gas stations. Waiting on resolution.

Invariably: "new things, new problems". Your local MB dealer is the best service stop for new ownership issues.
The driver seat memory should best be linked to individual keyfobs. Outside that feature, manual operation requires IGN_1 power.
The best we can do is adapt to the reality on hand without expecting Mercedes to adopt our change request, right?

The seat memory needs a profile active, which often requires pressing the start button first it's a design quirk.
For AC while charging, ensure you're plugged in and press the start button once without your foot on the brake, then turn on the climate control from the screen.
