Removal of passenger footwell trim, CLE 53

I'm attempting to remove the passenger footwell cover on my AMG CLE 53 to replace the cabin air filter. I've removed the two push rivets close to the glovebox hinge (on either side of the airbag). However, it still appears as if there is a hidden clip or hook somewhere near the glovebox hinge toward the driver's side, as the trim panel will not release and is tight in that area. Does anyone know how to remove this panel (I imagine the procedure is similar to recent model C and E series)?

Go ahead post some pictures.
There are 2 or 3 screws involved to secure footwell molding.

Also note there a fragile temp sensor connected to the plastic pannel... remove it carefully.

There is a third fastener. Feel straight up from where you removed the two rivets, right behind the glovebox. There's a hidden 8mm bolt you need to unscrew. It's a real pain to reach.
