2018 C43/ 2016 C450(RIP)

2018 C43 Sedan

Hey forum

So lately I've been hearing a squeak when I put the car into park 2018 C43 78,000 miles. Only when I put it into park. Sounds like the emergency brake or I assume. What can I lubricate or check before I take into a service shop.

Also is it easy to lubricate and clean exhaust valves as they kind of squeak when I first start up the car but eventually when warmed up it goes away

Quite possibly. I didn't hear it this AM not when I do the manual emergency brake switch. I hear the mechanical activity.

I think you're right it probably is the exhaust valves. I hear them often.

I see. If it is the exhaust valves then most possibly the same sound the 63 folks are dealing with. Got to throw a tube of high temperature lubricant.https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...t-fixable.html
