Not sure if anyone knows why but MBUX keeps prompting me to update to the newest version for the central display but nothing happens when I lock door and it starts installing. Seems like it never really completes after car is turned off even though I follow instructions on screen.
This is happening for the past week but not sure what I need to do different ?

When I lock car it says Ongoing installation but never really installs as I keep getting message to install after every restart . Annoying
Sorry not good answer but 120 min seems like a very long time. When you park it can the vehicle make a connection...meaning you are not ins a garage down 4 stories.
It might be that the car has low voltage in the battery and is not able to proceed with the update.
Try taking your car to your local dealer/workshop to see if they can run a diagnosis on the car before installing the update to not risk any corruption to the head unit

When looking at battery it says charged constantly . Not sure what is preventing it from doing the update .
If you get your hands on a ENET cable, I'd be happy to perform a diagnosis on your car remotely using official software. Perhaps any other codings too you might want.
That is a happy ending, did you have to use home wifi at all?
Not at all ... I just randomly started the car and chose to perform update again although I noticed it said only 10 mins for the update rather then 130 mins , then locked the car ..
