NTG 4.5 - Force UI to Display TV - MB Tech Help??

I’m hoping someone with deeper NTG 4.5 / HU45 experience might be able to point me in the right direction.
Vehicle is a US-spec Mercedes-Benz ML350 with COMAND NTG 4.5, VIN 4JGDA5HB9CA067398
. I recently installed a Mr12Volt P2000-NTG45MM which integrates as a TV tuner over MOST.
Initially I had a MOST fiber orientation issue, but after correcting that, all factory modules came back online normally and the MOST ring now appears healthy.
Current situation:
- Mr12Volt powers on normally
- Unit is visible/connectable from phone
- No MOST faults
- MOST diagnostics show:
- TV = installed in actual configuration
- TV = installed in specified configuration
However:
- No TV menu appears anywhere in COMAND
- Return + Clear activation procedure does nothing (it does code on the some video variants, including TV, but that's all. There is no "trigger action" like with other CarPlay boxes
- No TV source visible under Video even after "activation"
- Clearing all video coding and repeating the activation procedure codes them back as expected, but still no TV
At this point I’m trying to determine whether:
- There is an additional HU45 developer/variant coding parameter required for TV menu visibility
- US-spec NTG 4.5 systems suppress the TV UI layer even when the MOST TV node is recognized
- Earlier HU45 Gen1 software requires flashing to High_CY13 / High_CY14 to expose TV/video functionality properly
Any guidance on:
- specific HU45 adaptations
- market/region settings
- developer coding paths
- firmware/software level considerations
Thanks in advance — this one has turned into a very German puzzle. 😅
Vediamo shows connected
Xentry sees it, knows it's supposed to be there

2 - As you can read on interface web "Mr12volt uses the MOST optical system and utilizes "TV" video input" - they use "and".
So, the Interface will create a fake flag as a TV, but it will not act as a TV.
In the Schematic, the Video is routed directly to the Car Display. So when you press something...I do not read the entire Instructions - the Interface will cut the Video Signal from HU to Display and the Display will remain connected only to the Interface.
Anyway, the TV menu in the HU may not act as a TV,
Here is a coding from a JP HU4.5, you may try different Options for TV - if there is available under "connected"
