Seat belt in fully extended position (won't retract)

I was wondering what part number is the passenger seat belt and what other model / year part fits in my car. The seat belt is fully extended and won't retract...

Fixable ? or replacement required?

Replace it. I know you are in need of some other parts for your 202 project. I suggest checking ebay,Potomac, or Silver Star.

I had a seat belt retractor on the drivers side that was sluggish to retract or wouldn't retract at all. It was replaced by the dealer. Better to replace it than than get a glass and dash sandwich for lunch.

200 sounds pretty inexpensive to me compared to what a reconstuctive dentist and plastic surgeon would want to fix your face after it got tatooed on the windsheild.......hmmmm maybe with enough pam spray on the glass your face might just slide right off after impact

The belt assy is expensive because it's a gas charged retractor. I'm actually surprised at the dealer price. Should be closer to $300.

Try ebay or the recyclers that I mentioned.
