Deal of the Year!!! HELP ME

Ok , Im in a pinch. I need a fellow enthusiast to help me out of a jam.

Somebody here must wish to "rent" " drive" Southern California's fastest CLS 63!! (sorry Rick)( sorry MO)

I have 19 months left on my lease, I cannot afford my payments and am 2 months behind. I have tried everything and Mercedes will not modify the lease.

My payments are 1500.00 plus tax just North of 1600.00

I am April, May and June behind (not yet). For making this payment and assuming the lease I would pay 462.50 for 19 months toward your bill.

1250.00 for mileage plus 400 for helping me out and you get the FASTEST 63 in the WEST!!!!!!!

effective monthly for the new owner

1161.50

Also you can keep my Mods, and my stock AMG 65 rims

Mods include

VRP 530
Renntech Monolites
Evotech ECU
Blacked out side markers.
LSD (030)
030 brakes
030 suspension

If somebody here just wants to loan me 5k, I can pay it back at 500.00 month x 12 so you make a 1k.

Right now I am glad it is fast cause im dodging repossesion!!!!!!!

I got 5k cash in hand to lend, provided you have some form of collateral.

My cousin Vinny is local and can go through the details today.

That means alot to me TY..I have 2 buyers already they are fighting over the car. I am trying to negotiate occasional usage , I hope one of em will let me "use" the car.

Final deal looks like this

19 months 1300.00
3200. down

wheels included.

Thanks for the offer on the loan, thats really cool

np. so the new owner/leaser gets this car for the 19 remaining months and is paying 1300/month?

and you get occasional usage? that would be cool.
then i can get a ride in the fastest 63 on the west next time im down in the SoCalish areas. =)

dude, that sucks to hear. best of luck.

how about you take off your mods and sell them to help you keep the car? even if it's not in modded condition, at least you can keep it. once you get back on your feet, you can mod it all the way back up again.

Thanks,

I thought of that but time is ticking and selling off piece by piece can take awhile. I was sunk by the writers Guild of America and perhaps SAG will drive the final stake through my biz.

Once you fall behind the payments on theese cars really make your stomach hurt.

Thanks for the support guys,

Hey juicee, sorry to hear about what's happening. I remember you said you were hit by the writer's guild but I didn't think it would be that bad. Best of luck you man.

Im sorry to tell you this. But, MB financial will NOT allow a transfer, if the lease is past due.. In fact, if it's 3 months past due. I would keep an eye on the car AT ALL TIMES.. Chances are they have already started the repo. process. And may very well have a truck "looking" for the car. And if your thinking abour "sub leasing" it. DON'T... You have no recourse if the person decides not to pay and/or trashes your car.. And no insurance coverage either, on the car.. "sub Leasing" is excluded under your policy..

Not trying to burst your bubble or anything. Just trying to save you from wasting your time.

If you are really in a jam with the payment, and have some capital to work with. Trade the car in for something cheaper.(this you CAN do, while its past due since there is still a "payoff" amount) Shop the car around to different dealers. See who gives you the best trade-in figures, and roll the difference into the new car. Maybe a new C-class or something? (Dont tell them ANYTHING about your situation)... Just tell them, you want something different.. Better on gas,etc,etc..

Its not gonna be pretty. But it might be your best alternative, and keep your credit for getting trashed. Do you have any capital to throw into the deal? Whatever you do, Dont let them repo. it. And dont hand it back to the dealer and walk away either (same thing as a repo.) your credit will be shot for 10+ years. And MB will sue you for the negative balance to boot.

If it all works, you should be able to get out of this car, and into another vehicle. While substantially reducing your monthly..

Honestly, if you have (or can borrow) the capital. The best thing to do, would be to MAKE THE PAYMENTS NOW, and hang in there.. But if you dont see any possibility of making the payments for the remainder of the lease, get rid of it now..

Car repos are a nightmare to get rid of. MUCH WORSE than a foreclosure..

good luck with everything.

If you need additional help, PM me. I am involved in the car business, and more than willing to help you out. Again, best of luck with everything..

Interesting points you raise here. I'm just thinking aloud and trying to be helpful here - if the OP owes ~1600 x19 months, that's an awful lot of negative equity (~30K) to roll into a new car, right?

Then even a new base C class becomes a $70-75k finance or lease, and a new large monthly payment, right?

Perhaps it would be better to borrow from wherever possible the 5k or so to catch up on the current lease, and then simply get out of it by transferring it?

And, payoff price - dealer trade value = more negative equity, right?

In reality.. Your right.. That is THE BEST alternative.. But if he makes the 3 payments now, only to fall behind again 3 months from now. That $5k is down the toilet, and nothing is accomplished. It sounds to me, like he needs "out" of this car ASAP.

With any lease. There is a "buy out" option DURING the lease term. In which you would buy the car, and the lease would be terminated, and you would own the car outright. All lease terms, payments, mileage, etc, would be void..

The problem is, that figure is probably WAY OFF what true market value is for the car. Thats why I asked if had any "capital" to contribute.. Just thinking about the numbers of the top of my head. He's probably at least $30k upside down in the loan. So, if he put down $15k-20k. They MIGHT be able to bury the remaining amount, in the new car.. But your right. It wont be easy or pretty..

The worst thing he could do, is borrow the 5k now to get caught up. Then lose the car 6 months from now anyway. Nothing would have been accomplished. Its a tough situation.

OP, PM me for help. If you need it.
