2003 E55 President's Edition 1 of 7
I'm not looking for opinions on price. I'm not really ready to part with the car quite yet, but I would like to sell it before the winter. If you're dying to get into a President's edition then this may be the car for you. The car is being sold with all of the aftermarket parts installed. I am not interested in parting any of them out at this time. Please realize this is a rare car that is stunning in person. It looks and sounds mean not your everyday "E" Class by any means. It's in excellent condition and runs as it was designed to. If your serious we can talk in more detail about the car. If you are unaware of the president's edition do a search there is a ton of great info on this site. I'm not looking for low ball offers. It will sit all winter and I plan on getting something new in the spring.

Thanks, I've gotten several inquiries. The car has been well taken care of I hope it goes to someone who will appreciate what it is. It's a lot of car for $40K. I'll post some pics over the weekend I plan on detailing the exterior this weekend.
Thanks

A standard E55 with the same miles and a handful of options are fetching 30-35K PP I am not an idiot. I have bought and sold 20+ personal cars I understand the market. I am asking $5K more than the higher end. With that you get a car that was made in limited production, has history, has a $12K AMG Carbon fiber interior and everything else that came with the pres. edition, every possible option offered in 03 including Nav, and about $5K in tasteful mods which can be removed. I'm not sure how that can really be viewed as a premium? If you think $5K is a "Premium" for a Limited Edition model which only 7 were made by AMG for Mercedes, than I don't know what to tell you. I've paid twice that for a set of Brembo brakes on my TT. There is a buyer for everything I don't think this car is valued at trade in prices like every other 55. If you don't share my opinion thats fine but please keep it off my thread. I appreciate the feedback, however comments like this do not add any value to this topic. If you feel the need and want to PM me to tell me this type of commentary do it privately not on the thread.
thanks

That car is worth over 40K, just cause we are in a econ slump does not mean its worth a penny less. Hold your line that is one heck of a Benz. Don't listen to the penny pinchers.

I would love to trade you cars, haha. It's a long shot, but would you want to do a trade for a 2005 SLK55 with only about 20K miles on it? It still has a warranty until 2010 or 2011 (I forgot which one).
