2002 CLK55 - Black/Black 63500 Miles - North Hollywood - MINT!- $16,500

I am buying a house and must sell my CLK55 AMG. It is a perfect example of black on black with factory chrome wheels. 2 of the wheels have a small amount of curb rash, nothing major. The passenger seat bloster stitches are loose for about 1/2 an inch.

Has every option available except crappy phone and crappy CD based navigation system.

Everything electrical that could go wrong with this car has been replaced, so you have
no worries. While not the most reliable electrically (typical for this year model), it has never had mechanical problems.

The car has around 63,800 miles on it now.

While I had not been happy with the car completely, I had actually changed my mind and planned on keeping it until we decided to buy a house.

Had the last major service done, all records kept, Oil change every 3000 miles with synthetic. Brand new tires front and rear.

Other than that the interior/exterior are perfect, showroom.

It has extras, AMG Shift Knob, AMG Pedals, AMG CL Grille, and Green Filters.

My asking price is $16,500.

$16,500 is an amazing deal for this car. Please call Brad at 818-653-3687. This car needs to go this week or next week so I am making deals.

You say all the electrical things that could go wrong have been replaced, what has been replaced?

Things that normally go wrong on this model (common fixes), seat motor, climate control buttons sticking, and the ignition control module failed. There was one other thing about some kind of PS pump in the trunk that needed replacing as well so I did that.

The climate control has been rebuilt by a company called BBE remanufacturing. According to them they do tons of these. It now has a lifetime warranty in case the buttons start sticking again.

I was told by the tech that all of the above he has replaced on many many of these cars.

What about the transmission control module, or the conductor sleeve? Has the MAF been replaced? Crank sensor?

Haven't had any of these problems on the car so no they haven't ever needed to be replaced. Why would they need to be replaced?

The car had the last major service done where they replaced the brakes as well.

Why would I replace a bunch of parts that aren't broken and they aren't maintenance items?

Car was independently inspected for a buyer by BMS INC of Sherman Oaks and passed the inspection with no issues.

Seems like a really clean car...good luck with the sale. If I had the money, I'd love to buy it as a daily driver.

Hello Brad,

two things that are killing it for me are the chrome wheels and the star grille. Do you have the stock grill to sell with the car? Are the AMG pedals included with the car? Also what brand and % level tint is that on the car? is it 20% or 35%? I am interested and in the market for a CLK55 AMG. Also, does the Climate control have bad pixels, I know sometimes they can go bad (they went bad on my older AMG, but just want to make sure it functions properly. any direct pictures of the seats & steering wheel, those are the two highest areas of wear. Also how long have you owned the car exactly and what maintenance/repairs have you done during that time period? thanks

Edit: Just saw picture of the grille, I want to make sure that is going to be installed on the car so I won't have to install it.

Nice car!...If you don't have any luck you can try eBay. Just a thought.
