I am helping my boss sell his car.. He is an SL/CL fanatic and purchases a new one every year and its time for this one to go. He rebadged it as a 65, and we can easily replace this professionally. NOT my idea!!! With only ~14K miles it is immaculate. No dents scratches or accidents and garage kept. No signs of wear on any buttons or switches either. Giovanna wheels (20") on Continental Giovanna branded tires. The panoramic roof was added at the MB dealership. Pulse and cooled seats are included, as well as the Navigation, Distronic active cruise control, and keyless go. It is definately a looker. In all fairness, he was actually talking with Renntech to do a Stage 3 but he decided to sell instead. Would be as quick or quicker than the 65. I told him not to do it because its silly, and hes now realized his mistake. Hes buying an SL65 once this sells, and will be driving the real 65 (CL) that you see in the background of some pics until the purchase.

Also as a person whose family owns a dealership, am I not allowed to be a car fan?? Am I not allowed to make a private classified listing? This is a privately registered vehicle, just like the CL65 I listed on here. If it were a dealer car, it wouldnt be driven period. In that case it is a unit. In this case, it is babied!

There are other cars out there no doubt about it. Distronic cruise may not be a big thing for some folks, even as a 3000 add on. Neither might the panoramic roof, which very few Mercedes have. This car is definately not for everyone. You would need a taste for the red leather, of all things.

Im going to disagree with you, I think the car will be gone before the years over. I base this from my experience owning a car dealership and selling thousands of cars. What kind of experience do you have to make that call? If you will look above I posted 3 other cars no less that are in the same ball park pricewise, if you account for the missing options. And the convertible weather is just too good out here

But since you have auction access you must have a dealer license and maybe we can work something out on the wholesale end if you have something of interest for us.

Because its not on the lot. Its a personal car that is registered and daily driven, as I already explained earlier. It hasnt been for sale until the night I posted it on here. Read the thread.

I know its hard for you to grasp this situation knowing I am a dealer (or stealer, according to your responses). But trust me, I dont have a history of giving false information. In fact, I was very forthcoming in my original post and even provided my personal number.

Are you dense?? Can you quote where I said that? No, you cant because I didnt say that. I said I have experience owning a lot. My family owned one. We have friends that own lots. This is a favor for a friend, another owner, I call him my boss because hes actually going to pay me in trips to the bar. So yes, I am functioning as his employee at the moment fielding inquiries about the car. I might just have to hand the task back to him, you all are a hard bunch!

But in all seriousness, why resort to attacking the veracity of my statements. Why not address the comments I made to you. Are you a dealer? And would you like to make a wholesale deal? Hes only interested in a SL65 if you have it.
