On the ad, you say the title is the one with the mileage error (71k miles on title)? So the 25k miles on the car are the true actual miles? When the car was first in an accident and then stolen a year later, was the odometer ever changed/altered?
Also, on the cars.com ad, there is no VIN, could you provide one?

It appears like the 25k are actual. The gauge cluster cover was swapped for an AMG. MB didn't have any service records after 18k miles, and I bought it with 21k. That said, with a car like this, you may never know. It certainly looks like it has 25k miles, but price reflects the absurd previous history.

I like the car a lot. It's great and exactly what I hoped for. I just like to change often. Plus NJ winter requires me to pull out my SUV - although I may go for a 05 or 06 E500 4matic this winter instead.

The coolest part is getting to drive such as awesome car for such a low price. Anyone looking at it, driving it, or even parking it would never guess the history or current value. It drives and appears like a high-end high-value GT coupe...

The salvage yard in Florida put 70,000 miles on the title. When the buyer in Brooklyn got the car (the guy I bought it from), he tried to have the title changed, but it required a physical inspection in Florida. He chose not to have it shipped down and back to Florida to correct it. I didn't care, as the purchase price reflected this error and my sales price reflects it as well.
