On average your going to pay 22-25k for that car depending on absolute condition and if it has navigation, and ventilated (a/c) seats.

OK, i don't think you know how manheim works exactly because of what you just said. On manheim you can select by region, what are you talking about any states close to CT.. heres NORTHEAST ONLY.. aka PA,NY,NY,DE,RI,MA,NH,VT,ME,CT UNDER 40k miles

Prices are going to dip harder in the coming weeks and months because all the 36 month leases are going to be up now for the 06 model year. So when you have an over exuberant amount that causes auction numbers, aka $$ for the car to go down. And most of the cars I listed, (55%) cause I counted, are NORTHEAST cars.

So at auction with carrying a CPO, PANO, and bi-xenon.. your car with 32k miles would bring about $23k @ auction. Do I think you should sell it for that no.. but be prepared to get offered close to that @ a dealer. Privately, you should generally list it as $2k extra for a CPO car, and tack on another $1500 if there are no blemishes (curbings, scratches, etc). So theoretically in a good market you should get $26-$27k for your car. In this economy, $24-26k I feel.

Good luck. In this market you will need it.

I don't think anyone is trying to bust you bubble, but the market is what it is, a buyers market. MB's, hell, just about any car these days is a dime a dozen, even AMG's! If you got a higher offer from a dealer make sure not to even mention you want a trade. Get the offer in writing, and a separate transaction for your new car. You may already know this, just saying..

At a Car Max I was offered 5K at first, but when it came down to nuts and bolts on my 300M they offered me 3K. Blue Book had my car at $6.8K. WTF?

I was able to do the deal private party at 6K.

No offense, and not to jack your thread.
