2005 Black on Black---- factory warranty until 9/09 or 8k more miles---- getting an extended warranty is $2500 till 2013 or 100k...bumper to bumper since it is still in factory warranty

history- 1 owner ----THE OWNER from what I have researched was the owner of the Mercedes dealership from where the car was sold.......carfax shows an incredible amount of detailed service records for car .....I have never seen a Benz so documented...and I have seen a ton of carfaxes.......owner was very meticulous about car obviously....
These cars are becoming more in demand in the last 4 months.........only 700 were sent to US in a 2 year span
612 hp for under $50k? no other car has this and air conditioned seats to boot
I bought the car for myself but another deal has come my way so I will sell to the highest offer before it hits ebay....

The CL65 was sold at Manheim in PA? Where are you located in S Florida? I assume the car has arrived, pics? Any modifications that you can tell?

Bought in PA. Yes I have a dealer License and I bought a 997 Turbo. Car will now be arriving on Monday.

100% sure it was rated #5. Also the car looked at by my rep and his report was "too nice to pass up and worth more then MMR, buy it". So I did. .....
I hope you aren't mixing my car up with the OVE one with same miles that a dealer picked up??

Alex maybe you are refering to the Grid?
The AVG rating on the MMR grid? I am going by the actual inspection report on the car.... that was a #5 ......the grid is not too reliable on certain things... i have seen many cars sell and not end up on there as well....
Autocheck is worthless at times... the carfax has extensive records on this car... I use both for peace of mind... 90% of the time carfax has a better record base....

I use both as well, however CARFAX recently banned me as they thought I was a dealer for researching too many VIN's. I talked to them on the phone and through emails etc. telling them I am an enthusiast and am constantly in the market for new toys, yet they still banned my account labeling me as a dealer. LOL

Thanks munk! When you say $2500 to extend the warranty, MB no longer starmarks cars so this would not be a factory warranty correct? You say bumper to bumper though, is there any difference in quality between the two warranties? (factory to 50k and extended to 100k)

Shouldn't the mods have MOVED this post the DAY it was placed on here? It's OBVIOUSLY a dealer who never had any intension of buying it for himself (i.e. for sale is in the very first post)? Based solely on the marketing, I'd lay dollars to donuts that it has been wrecked and that there is no record of the accident on CarFax... Mods please move this per forum guidelines.
