And in a VERY short time all the factory warranties will be up and with only 194 made.... this is gonna be a very hard car to get your hands on with warranty and not abused.....
The new ones are still $130k plus.....so if anybody wants to drive the most powerful AMG built ... they better buy one soon without spending a fortune

.........Your car is fantastic, but I don't agree with your statement. Contrary to your statement, these cars are going to be very easy to buy when the factory warranties expire. The owners will like to unload them because of costly repairs and potential buyers will be very picky because of fear of costly repairs. A brake job alone on these cars is more expensive than an entire semester's tuition for most families with kids in college. If indeed 194 were made, that number is already too many, given the above.

Your price on the brakes are absolutely incorrect.
The front composite rotors alone are $1000 each.
You no doubt are a good salesman after reading your for sale ad.
Congrats on the sale

Now some people are told that the rotors should be replaced which is incorrect depending on the wear of the rotor... remember these rotors are strong and can handle a lot more wear then a traditional rotor....
either way to replace the front rotors and pads at a dealer can exceed $3k .....
I PERSONALLY like to use an independant Benz mechanic... saves a ton of money.....
the official take is "to maintain optimal breaking power".
however, this was as a result of the newer stronger rotors that will not wear out but will rust from inside/out along the venting braces inside the rotor. this if left unchecked will result in rotor splitting/desintegrating and wheel seizure which might result in an accident.
so now they will replace rotors and pads to avoid potential litigation.
ofcourse a knowledgeable owner can save him/herself lots of money by just doing a brakepad job, but the dealer would not do it.
