FS: 2005 E55 AMG, Silver, Pano, Nav, etc..
I am looking to build a new house and am trying to free up some moeny right now and have debated selling my E55, which sucks....not sure what other way to free up some more money until we close on the house. Trying to get a bigger downpayment for the home, to snag an awesome interest rate, and terms...but I need more cash for now, then I will look for another Silver one just like this one. The car is located in Houston, TX.
The car is a 2005 Silver E55 AMG.
Silver Ext. Black Int.
48k miles
Pano Roof
DVD/Nav
Dynamic seats
Heated/Ventilated seats
Xenon lights
Automatic trunk closer
Clear Bra
New tires
F:245/40/18 Yokohama
R: 275/30/18 Nitto Invo
Asking Price: $35.5k
The car is bone stock. I have done all the maintenance on the car, I recently had a Service "F" performed, which is new cabin filters, bushing checked, oil change, tranny flush, inspection, etc... I also have replaced both the oil level sensor and tranny sensor to make sure that there were no issues with the car.
I had planned to add some basic mods, so I have done everything to make sure that the I had a solid platform to start with, but now, since I am selling it, I will not be doing any modifications obviously.
I had taken the car to a local shop to get a baseline dyno pull, which was 417.8rwhp, and I also took it the track to get a stock baseline 1/4 mile, which was a 12.16 @ 115.6mph (my best mph was a 116.8). I have owned alot of fast cars, and am not hard on them, but I obviously bought the E55 for the 55 part, not necesarily the E part. It is not abused, only used as it is designed. Never been street raced, burnouts, etc...but I will be honest that it has been to the track, because I want to make sure that my cars run what they are supposed to run, to me that is just as important if not more important than a dyno number.
The car was a CPO car prior to my ownership, I have both the CPO window sticker and maintenance records from MB, as well as my own receipts for service that I have performed from oil changes, tires, etc...
The car is in excellent condition, I will post pics of it tomorrow once I get a chance to take some and load them on the computer.
Thanks for your input and comments.

Here are some pics. I will try and get some new ones, but my home computer just crashed, and these are the only ones I had on photobucket.
Let me know if anyone would like a more precise photo.
Thanks,
Scott

Sorry for reposting the upgrades, I noticed I left out a few during my original post. I will try and get some better pics since those pics were from when I bought it and were taken just to email to a friend.

Price drop to $31,500.
Also, willing to purchase extended warranty and simply raise price to help interested parties who want a warranty, but can not, or do not want to spend the money after purchase to have the car under warranty. So if you want/need a 100k/48mo warranty, I can do that as well. I also have over 60 pictures of the car inside and out to show the condition from about any angle.

Just to update my for sale thread. I just had my car fully inspected by Alex Rodriguez MB in Houston, and purchased a 4yr/unlimited mileage warranty from Chrysler Direct for $2900. I figured with the market being soft, if I end up keeping it, I wanted the warranty for the long term uses, short term, warranty was not important to me since I feel the car to be in perfect mechanical condition, but if I end up with the car for however long, I wanted the peace of mind, so the car is now covered under a Maximum Care warranty through 2013 that is transferable.
Please note this for the price of the car, it will be changed to reflect this purchase. I may just delete the thread and start over with some more recent pics and prices. Thanks for those that have shown interest, but the car is now under warranty for those that wanted it.
New Price $34000, and the car has also just rolled over 50k miles just to keep the thread updated since I do use this car on a regular basis.

I drive a Dodge Stratus! People are scared of me! -Will Ferrell (SNL)
This car is in great condition, as I looked at it during a search for an E55. Scott keeps the line of communication open as well. The only reason I decided against it was the sheer distance from me and the fact it had no warranty. Best of luck to Scott on the sale. He'll find someone in TX who is looking for a great E55.
Wanted to give a positive review to someone who was up front with me and provided great communication.

Yes. I went with unlimited mileage for 4 yrs. The warranty went into effect yesterday, so I would assume that it will expire 4-10-2013. I am still waiting for the packet to arrive in the mail with the full details and such, but it is the Chrysler Maximum Care service contract.

Not sure. I did not ask about a refund. Once I receive my packet in the mail, it should have a detailed description of policy and such. You can also search around for others with the Chrysler warranty and see if it is refundable.

By the way why do you have "Expo Motorcars" license plates on the pics? Are they from when you bought the car?

Yes, those are some old pics from the day I bought it. I have 60+ pics that I have taken just recently of the car. More than likely, I will try and delete this thread and create a new one with more updated pics and prices. This thread is somwhat confusing now.
Too bad you didn't notice the car before last Friday when I bought the warranty, would have worked out well.

I was actually looking for a 2001/02 M5 but I tried one last week and they are too slow + the interior looks very old so I am now switching to an E55
