2003 Mercedes Benz "Facelifted" E320 w211 *Feeler if price is right*

Hi, Everyone. I recently just got an opportunity to purchase a different dream car and I might be going that route. Possibly Up for sell is a 2003 Mercedes Benz E320 in excellent condition. I bought it in July 2008, used of course. I think it only had one previous owner besides me. I can give you a free carfax report if you want. The car is clean. No problems. Clean Title. It has about 71500 miles(and I'm still using it for my daily driver). I upgraded the vehicle in September to look like the facelifted 2007+ Mercedes Benz w211s. Cost nearly $2500+ to do(You can ask anyone else on the forum and they will tell you the same if not more) and I was thinking I would keep the car forever. So the bumper was updated. The headlights have the face lifted chrome trim. And also the tail lights have been upgraded to the face lifted LED versions. The wheels also have been updated to the facelifted 10 spoke 18" rims. The tires on the vehicle were just purchased in November. I also purchased a brand new battery for the car to. The mercedes dealer mistakenly told me I would need it when I was having brake issues(Two months later the brake issues turned out to be related to the SBC recall on the earlier w211 models which I got fixed free of charge). The car basically has many of the options that came common on the e320 at this time. Bi-Xenon lights, Heated Seats, six cd changer, etc.. Kelly blue book value has my car at around 16k, with my upgrades and new wheels I am looking to sell the car for $17500. And if the price is right I might be able to throw in two new tires for the vehicle, trunk spoiler, roof spoiler, and a Mercedes hood badge.

I have include some pics, please let me know if you want other angles of pics or if you have any questions.

Thx! It was actually a local body shop with a whole bunch of exotic cars(which you don't see that often out here in the midwest). I preffered the basic facelifted look but If I did go the amg route I think would have went for the 63 front end, and 55 back end.

I guess everyone has there own preference. I preferred to keep it less sporty looking..just more of an aggresive luxurious look. But the facelifted internal components are on the vehicle so if someone wanted to purchase the car and swap the front end with a e63 front end it should be a breeze

A 2003 is a 2003 is a 2003. Why go to all that expense for little gain.It won't enhance the resale value.

Certainly you are entitled to your own opinion(just wish you could start your own thread about it instead of criticizing on mine ). Mods certainly do help the car. Maybe a more extreme case would be HRE's on a car, lorinser kits on a car, etc. You might be a little older and like the OEM look of the org. car but there is def. a lot of people who would choose a modded car(given they like the mods) over a car with similar mileage with basic look. Especially if they were going to perform the mods themselves..or were to lazy..and only have to shell out an extra $1000 for $2500+ of mods.

A friend of mine bought a 2003 E55 with similar miles for just a couple grand more than your asking. Price is too high. Sorry to disappoint you, but the economy sucks right now and its a buyers market.

An E55 for 19500? I know it's a buyer's market but no way he got an e55 with close to 75k in good condition for that much(unless he had the hookup). But if he did to him.

I agree he got an amazing deal.

A quick look on ebay shows 2 cars that had closing bids at $21,100 and $20,100 with lower mileage. Now keep in mind they didnt sell because the reserve wasnt met, however, this shows a sample of what people were willing to pay.

I don't have access to Manheim reports but I bet the prices are similar.

ahh...eBay doesn't really count as far as judging what you may get locally. But I just got my car for only 18 and it's got half the miles and 2 years newer and it's a 500 and it's got every option known to man

But that front end looks SWEET. Something is missing on the back though??

Yeah its missing the facelifted "euro-style" trunk lid with chrome strip. I was thinking about doing that but then changed my mind once I figured I wanted to sell the car. Yeah prices are dropping like flies..which is good for me(since I'm looking at getting a cls500) and bad for me(since I'm trying to sell my ride)..

^^ I actually like "busy" feel with the newer facelift trunks...chrome piece trim and the wider "aussie" type license plate area.

Anyway folks, the car is at 78k miles. Looking for $14,900.
