FS or trade: '92 400E W124
Just hit 120k miles, Clean Carfax, brought from Florida two years back. Powerful, high low-end torque aluminum block V-8, rear wheel drive, 5-speed automatic transmission. All maintenance done through MB dealers only, have all records since purchased new. Borbet lightweight-alloy wheels on UHP tires, stored winters, however still have original wheels. European Bosch headlight conversion. Runs only Mobil 1 0W-40 Euro Car Formula changed every 2k, no leaks or anything like that. Literally thousands spent this past year on new Bilstein suspension components, steering, water pump, fluids, hoses, radiator, filters, etc. - all done through Romano Mercedes in Fayetteville and have records for everything dating back to original purchase in '91 at Naples Mercedes-Benz. Diagnostic report two months ago showed only the monovalve was faulty - replaced to the tune of $640. Interior in excellent condition, still has original first aid kit. Only problem is minor wear on drivers seat and a wood trim panel has a small crack in it. Rear seating literally never used. Exterior is in excellent condition, with a couple small dents that could be popped out however are not noticeable, and a small plastic trim piece above the license plate has a hairline split in it from the sun. Will need brakes and should have scheduled maintenance (plugs/rotors/cap) done within 5k miles. Would like to get at least $5k out of it - car means a ton to me.
