Well, seeing how as my first post. An 06 Loaded with Factory warranty left was sold for only 29K, I think if I stay patient I can find something at least similar and jump on it. This car is 2005, while at low miles but no factory warranty. Also it's missing some options major ones (Lighting Package, Shades, Cooling Seats) etc... For all I know, I won't be able to find another 06 for 29K, but I'm willing to take the risk.
Also I have a Patience broker who makes his money on exotics, so finding cars together is our hubby not so much for the money. So Lance is very chill.

^^ I just sent him an e-mail... I've been looking for around 3 months now and have not seen any e55's near the options that one had w/ warranty etc. sell for that price.. I still feel there had to be something behind it especially knowing it was @ $39k for 2 months and I offered them $32k they turned it down and then sold it for $29k? does not add up.

I found ONE car in three months within 500 miles of me that fit the bill and wasn't in the high 30's, low 40's (well actually it started in the high 30's...lol).
While I am not saying you wont find it in the low 30's, there is no question the market has changed in the last few months.
And BTW I have already used the factory warranty when the car developed a faulty fuel pressure regulator the second week I had it....$800 on Mercedes with that repair alone.
Good luck with your search!

I looked for several months, at a wide variety of years and options, and decided I wanted an 06 with at least a few months of MERCEDES warranty left - in white or black and at least keyless and nav.
I found ONE car in three months within 500 miles of me that fit the bill and wasn't in the high 30's, low 40's (well actually it started in the high 30's...lol).

Too many owners & miles. Last I spoke to him, he said the car has 73K miles. Even if you put 12K on the car, you can't sell it for high low teens in a year. I was working on that car. It was priced at 26 and then to 23 and then to 21 and now to 20. I doubt those 3 flaws are the only problems. It's a good about at high teens, nothing in 20s. Also, No Pano & No PDC.

I also was working with the seller and he requested a deposit but I wanted MB to do an inspection...I asked if he would refund me the deposit if MB found any problems during the inspection and he said NO the deposit is not refundable...so I declined .....but I must say $21k is very tempting

a 2006 white/black just came on the market with 48k miles on it. the dealership is out of their mind though, $38k firm absolutely no negotiation in price. I was on the phone this morning for about 30 mins with them and after i knew what i was talking about they didnt want to be bothered. you can find the vehicle on autotrader
