Looking for a White E55 AMG, from 2005 - 2006, under 50K miles Fully loaded. Like to have some sort of certified Warranty that comes with the car. Like to stay under $29K, this 06 just sold for $29,000 - With another 5K factory warranty. Called to buy, but there was a deposit on the car within 5 hours apparently.

That car was for sale for about 2 1/2 months, they started at $38k and slowly came down to the $29,995 asking price. I e-mailed them every week offering more than that price and they never got back to me, oh well.

 

Oh you don't even know how disappointed I was when he said there is a $500 deposit on the car. I was excited to go wire the full amount tomorrow morning. Oh well as well

For the color though, I'd be more than happy to pay up to 27K-29K. I doubt he'll take it though, we are at 37K after many hours on the phone.

Anyone run the carfax on that car? I emailed them also and didn't get a response. The autocheck on it says 4 owners and I'm wondering if this was correct for an 06?

 

Clean Carfax, only thing is 4 owners and duplicate title. I guess one of the owner's must have lost it during the ownership. Car moved from MD, NC, to FL and FL again.

 

I also called on that car and told them I would wire money now. That is a great deal. 4 owners is BS! You have to watch Carfax and Autcheck, if someone moves 4 times even within the same state, they will report 4 owners because the title switched cities or townships 4 time. Those two companies are worthless. The only real way to know is do research through MB and other avenues.

 

P.S. Watch that car. They call it MB certified, but once a car goes into a used dealers name on title the certified warranty is cancelled per MB. There is no way they MB certified it because they are not a MB dealer. Do your research on that one and once you point that out to them maybe they will reconsider your offer.

 

Very true, I think they got some 3rd party crap warranty and they are calling the car certified. He said it's unlimited miles for 3 years. I told them, CPO from Benz is only 12-24 months and 100K miles. So I know it's not certified through Benz for sure. Other downside to this car other than the crazy price tag is it's New York car, Crappy roads, Ice, Rain, Snow, Salt, Sand etc... It's not worth wasting time, I can shave another 1-2K off, but even at 35K it's way over priced.

 

Ya, NY cars suck. Same with NJ cars. Those people put an asswopping on cars. Not just the exterior but the interior as well.

 

Found a 05 White on Black - 36Kmiles - Does Not Have: Dynamic, Cooling Seats & Rear Shade and no warranty. Asking is at $30,300 with probably no room to negotiate. Thoughts?

 

Dynamic seats are a gimmick! Cooled seats suck in MBs and work for crap anyways. Tint the windows and screw the rear shade. Not many E55 are gonna have any warranty anymore. Even 06s are about all done. Does it have pano? Where is is being sold from?

 

You dirty man, getting me excited by giving me hopes like that. How dare you . Yeah Pano and it's not listed online. My broker found it for me.

That is a weird car though! It has pano but no lighting package. It has no zenon lights. WTF

 

^^very true... oh wells, i've seen oem mercedes xenon for around $400 on ebay or just throw in an HID kit.. still odd though

 

I thought those lights are xenons? Then what is the lighting package? Here is the option list according to my broker.

Lighting pkg. is xenons and that car deffinetly does not have it. It is easy to install though. You can get a kit for like $200.

 

It seems as though the market is drying up on good E'S CLS's S's ...anything 2003 and up....mostly these hot colors ...white Pano and Black cars....All these cars are super rare in numbers ..they are getting affordable for the average joe now...so this is causing a flood of buyers...even the auctions are getting dry

BUY WHILE YOU CAN...lol.....I much prefer the blown cars over the 63

 

Thats why I am holding on to my 06 CLS with 21k. I dont think I could replace it.
